WatchGuard and Finjan security courses offer 'accredited' status

IT reseller and training company Wick Hill is launching training courses for WatchGuard security products.

WatchGuard provides firewall software and VPN-based security products aimed at enterprises and the public sector.

Among other things, Wick Hill's course aims to teach attendees how to install, configure and manage WatchGuard Firebox Peak appliances and remote devices, as well as how to specify and implement relevant security policies and settings. Those completing the course will also gain WatchGuard accredited technical status for the product.

The course costs 1,690, lasts three days and is held at Wick Hill's Woking headquarters in Surrey. Courses will run on 6-8 July, 20-22 July, 3-5 August, 17-19 August, 21-23 September and 26-28 September.

Wick Hill is also running Finjan-accredited training for those wishing to learn how to use Finjan security products. Students will be taught how to install, configure and manage the Finjan Vital Security Appliance Series NG5000 and the Internet1 Box Series.

Also covered is how to ensure complete protection against viruses and spyware, as well as how to set up and manage policies and objects.

The course lasts two days, costs 1,180 and is also held at Wick Hill's Woking headquarters in Surrey. Courses will run on 4-5 July, 12-13 July, 14-15 July, 1-2 August, 15-16 August, 8-9 September and 15-16 September.
