KPOS rolls out Epos for Waterstones

High-street book retailer Waterstones has signed a contract with KPOS Computer Systems to supply hardware and implement services for a chip-and-Pin system across its 196 stores.

The roll-out includes IBM SurePOS 700 point-of-sale terminals with infrared touch screens and Ingenico chip-and-Pin readers. KPOS will also install the tills and readers to all stores, including system builds.

David Pogrund, Waterstones IT director, said, "We are confident KPOS understands the demands of our business and that this will lead to a successful implementation."
