June 29, 1967: Computing power of Rolls Royce Part 2

With such a heavy commitment to computer usage and investment, demand for computer staff at Rolls Royce is high. At the moment the education department is running 24 different couses, ranging from one day presentations to longer term residential courses. Last year training was provided to 250 staff. This year course places in man-weeks will amount to 1,455, next year the figure will be 2, 612, and by 1971 it will be nearly 5,000.
