Parliament signs web-TV contract

The Houses of Parliament has awarded a three-year contract to Twofour to support and host webcasts of all proceedings from the House of Commons and House of Lords.

The Houses of Parliament has awarded a three-year contract to Twofour to support and host webcasts of all proceedings from the House of Commons and House of Lords.

The webcasts will include live coverage of all UK parliamentary proceedings and select, public bill and general committees, as well as selected archive footage.

Twofour Digital, Twofour's technical and facilities arm, employs a team of more than 60 people working in offices in London and Plymouth to provide its web broadcasting solutions.

Existing customers include Nationwide, DfES, Volkswagen, Kellogg's, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the RAF and Flybe.

All the footage from Parliament will be available through www.parliament.uk.
