Businesslink.gov.uk, the government website that provides practical advice for SMEs, has launched three new online tools with the aim of making life easier for managers and business owners.
A Tax Alert Key Date service, a Statement of Employment and a Regulation Update service are all available free of charge on the business link website, and are already in use with SMEs.
The Tax Alert service enables business owners to receive personalised e-mail alerts reminding them in advance of the key tax dates for their business, and the actions they need to take to avoid missing deadlines.
The Statement of Employment service offers the ability to quickly produce a complete statement for any new employee. Finally, the Regulation Update service gives simple advance summary e-mails of new regulations coming into force, and details of where to find more information.
Stephen Alambritis of the Federation of Small Business, said, “These new online tools are just what small business managers need to put their minds at ease.”
