SNIA ANZ Chairman steps aside

A change of career means change at SNIA.

Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) ANZ Chairman Jacon Van der Eyk has stood down from the organisation.

Van der Eyk has also left Computer Associates. His new employer is not in the storage industry, making further involvement with SNIA impractical.

EMC’s Clive Gold, currently a SNIA ANZ Board Member, will take on the Chairman’s duties on an interim basis. A new, permanent, Chairman “will be selected in due course, possibly as early as the next board meeting on the 18th of November,” according to information sent to by SNIA ANZ.
