Company name: Tiger Wheel & Tyre a Division of TiAuto

Project owner: David van Vuuren, CTO and Melody Fourie, Group Information Technology Executive

Tiger Wheel & Tyre refreshed aging physical server environment, achieving 100% virtualisation and saving R 2.6 million (South African Rands) in capital expenses in the process.
It consolidated 11 physical servers onto new HP blade servers and virtualised with VMware vSphere,
Products Used: VMware vSphere 5.0 and Veeam Backup & Replication 6.0, HP BL460G1, HP BL490G6, HP BL460G8, DL380G5,G6,G7 and HP ML110, HP ProCurve 1GB Ethernet, Arista switches 10GB Ethernet, Tintri T540 13.5TB, Aruba 1GB WiFi network for BYOD.
