CA Technologies has introduced what it claims is the industry’s first and only unified application, infrastructure and network performance tool.

According to CA Technologies, its application performance management (CA APM) 9.1 tool gives customers better control over the user experience by providing improved visibility across hybrid cloud infrastructure. The company says the product provides a foundation on which to move to a business service delivery model, where user departments pay for the amount of infrastructure they use.

“CA APM is a single product designed to deliver a complete, 360-degree view of the user experience by linking business transaction performance to the dependent application, network and infrastructure components,” said Mike Sargent, general manager, Service Assurance, CA Technologies. He said the product allows system administrators to isolate, diagnose and resolve problems across disparate technology silos.
