Accenture and Cisco form enterprise agility group

Accenture and Cisco are today launching the Accenture and Cisco Business Group to help large enterprises increase business agility by embedding collaboration and datacentre virtualisation capabilities into their key business processes.

The group - which builds on Accenture and Cisco's existing alliance - will design, build and run business systems to help companies integrate unified communications and collaboration tools into multiple applications across their IT infrastructures

The partners said they are forming the group to help companies improve the way globally dispersed professionals communicate and collaborate with fellow employees, customers, partners and suppliers in a wide range of industries.

The Accenture and Cisco Business Group's first three offerings:

Customer contact transformation systems to help companies win and retain customers through customer service.

Unified communications and collaboration systems to help give businesses a sustainable competitive advantage.

Infrastructure transformation systems which will draw on the expertise of Accenture's business process experts and Cisco's networking experts.
