Hewlett-Packard has released three targeted print systems designed to address the needs of the financial services, higher education, and retail sectors located in the EMEA region.

Hewlett-Packard said these are based on specific industry needs and would optimise infrastructure, streamline information workflows, manage print environments and reduce costs.

Jan Riecher, vice-president for commercial enterprise at the Hewlett-Packard EMEA imaging and printing group, said, "By helping companies optimise and manage their infrastructures and workflows, we are enabling them to be more competitive through greater productivity."

The Hewlett-Packard Campus Advantage Solution is targeted at the higher education sector and enables universities and colleges to make the most of their imaging and printing resources, whilst making printing and copying simpler and easier for users, said Hewlett-Packard.

The system delivers hardware, services and capabilities ranging from mobile printing and user-based, per-page accounting, to the consolidation of copying, scanning, imaging and printing devices in a secure networked environment with user authentication.

The Hewlett-Packard Compliant Document Capture for Financial Services Solution helps financial institutions streamline critical document workflows, whilst simultaneously providing the increased document security, audit trails and archival capabilities required by industry regulations, such as Mifid.

The Hewlett-Packard Retail Marketing Automation Solution is designed for large retail outlets and allows the easy and cost-effective production of in-store signage, flyers, shelf labels, coupons and catalogues, Hewlett-Packard said.
