BCS to make its mark on US profession
The BCS has set up a US section to support IT staff working or going to work in the US and to help the society make its mark on the US industry.
"The group will do more than simply meet the needs of the 380-plus BCS members," said chairman Gavin Grounds. "It will bring to the American IT profession additional perspectives and understanding.
"It will also afford IT professionals and students across the country the opportunity of benefiting from the experience, ethics, principles and learning opportunities the BCS can present."
Like all BCS branches, the US section has been formed by volunteer members.
