Citrix portal opens door to .net apps

Citrix has made available a software developers kit (SDK) for its Nfuse Elite portal product which allows for integration with Microsoft .net applications via Citrix access portal products, writes Antony Adshead.

With the SDK, developers can create Microsoft Web Forms using Visual Studio .net tools.

The SDK will allow programmers to enhance the functionality of the Nfuse Elite portal and includes instructions for Web form development and application programming interfaces.

Citrix already provides a number of content delivery agents which allow tailored views of back-end systems to be created and delivered to the desktop portal.
