Directors have slammed successive UK governments for failing to address the skills shortage by fostering the creation of IT skills.

A Computer Weekly/Harvey Nash Big Question poll found that 80% of IT managers believe successive UK governments have not done enough to improve the creation of IT skills in the last 10 years, leaving the industry with a burgeoning skills crisis. Only 11% felt the authorities had done as much as possible to address the problem.
