Action is the deal on Naked Leader's blog

The Deal is the latest blog to launch on ComputerWeekly.com - and one with a twist. David Taylor, author of The Naked Leader, said, "My blog won't be about discussion and debate, but about action."

Each day Taylor will pose an IT leadership problem and propose a solution - and he hopes to provoke alternative paths forward from readers.

Among the subjects to be addressed will be jargon, the place of SLAs, promotion to the board, and how to get voicemail returned.

Before publishing The Naked Leader, Taylor wrote a regular IT leadership column for Computer Weekly.

He has a 25-year track record in organisations including Rolls-Royce, Hoechst and Cornhill. He is a visiting MBA lecturer at Imperial College, London, and was European Speaker of the Year in 2004.
