Scabal moves to the cloud for storage flexibility
Clothing manufacturer Scabal is moving its entire IT infrastructure to Interoute’s cloud for flexibie storage
Clothing manufacturer Scabal is moving its entire IT infrastructure to Interoute’s cloud platform to give it the flexibility to meet its storage requirements.
When moving to new headquarters in Brussels, Scabal decided to switch to Interoute’s cloud services rather than move its entire IT infrastructure.
Interoute will also support the delivery of cloud-based telephony, video communication, systems integration and centralisation of the manufacturer’s internal helpdesk.
Through the flexible on-demand cloud design, marketing teams that use data-heavy files will be able to share and collaborate quickly with other parts of the business.
"We needed greater flexibility in the datacentre to meet our storage needs today and in the future, and Interoute stood out immediately as capable of helping us achieve these goals,” said Filip Grymonprez, chief financial officer at Scabal.

Jose Largo, IT director at Scabal, said the service gives it the ability to host a range of technology services and unify its communications.
“Interoute’s solution helps us optimise our total cost of ownership. What’s more, Interoute delivers everything within one flexible service model that can scale as our business does, without unnecessary upfront investment,” said Largo.
Other users of the Interoute cloud platform include The European Space Agency and Uefa.
