CA has released version 6.0 of its eHealth network performance management software.
The company added eHealth to its portfolio after its acquisition of Concord Communications last year. The update includes a new Report Center and other enhancements designed to provide greater insight into network performance, behaviour and trends.
The new reporting engine allows users to create, schedule, run and customise web-based reports about the health and performance of network resources. Reports on “what-if” scenarios can also be generated, allowing IT managers to gauge the effects of possible future interventions or changes to the network.
The software can also be used to document service level agreement compliance to line-of-business managers.
The new release has also been designed to simplify the administration of eHealth, with an extended user interface giving multiple users simultaneous access to capabilities such as managing group lists and web user accounts.
