Business continuity and crisis management are the focus of the BCS Project Management Specialist Group's Autumn School at London's Canary Wharf over four Tuesday evenings from 27 September.

"As the UK reels from recent terrorist attacks, business continuity and crisis management is more relevant than ever," the group said. "If a crisis happens, how do organisations deal with the outcomes, minimise the damage and protect and recover their operations?"

The lecture series aims to provide answers, with experts from the likes of Barclays and the Business Continuity Forum focusing on practical issues. Speakers include Jim Burtles, who has won awards for his work in this field. The series costs £140 to BCS members and £195 to others.
