Pirelli, the telecoms and systems supplier, has rolled out e-business software across its European offices to improve customer service and sales force productivity.

Sales teams will use the Siebel e-business applications, including a customer relationship management (CRM) module, to get a clearer view of its customers' needs.

The Siebel application is hosted by e-business provider Aspective, which built a bespoke CRM module for Pirelli. The CRM module links into Pirelli's enterprise resource planning system from SAP. Pirelli did not disclose the value of the three-year contract with Aspective.
