The Chelsea Pensioners, famous in London for their distinctive red coats, live on the Long Wards. The fabric of the Grade 1 listed building, with extremely thick walls, wooden beams and hard floors has hardly changed in over 300 years, which means RF signals face a very harsh and noisy environment.
