The clay model is scanned to create surface data quickly through AutoDesk 3D Studio. Aston Martin also uses Alias an Maya to build photorealistic 3D models (CGI) to help designers visualise the car. This photograph shows a CAD diagram and CGI model of the CC100 concept car.
