The best smartphones for 2012

6/6

Lenovo K800

The K800 runs a skinned Android 2.3, although it will be upgraded to Android 4.0 later in the year. Other features are that it comes with BlueTooth 3.0, GPS, a 8 megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and a 4.5-inch multitouch TFT screen. These specifications are fairly standard but what makes the K800 stand out is that it is the only phone in the world to run Intel's Medfield processor, which promises to be one of the most powerful processors available for smartphones. Pity it's only available in China.
