London-based European law firmField Fisher Waterhousehas
implemented anenterprise search platformacross its
offices worldwide, improving knowledge sharing to support business
growth over an increasing widespread area.
Recommind's MindServer platform was rolled out in three months
to enable the law firm's global network of users to search, access
and manage internal and external information sources.
"We selected MindServer because it provided our lawyers with
powerful document search and legal expertise location services out
of the box," said Jane Bradbury, knowledge management director at
Field Fisher Waterhouse.
The law firm is using the system to identify business
opportunities by identifying lawyers who have already worked with
particular clients or industry sectors as well as to attract law
graduates.
"Now that the 'Google generation' is entering the workplace,
having a good information management tool is helping us to support
our most recent entrants into the profession," said Bradbury.
