IT managers employed in oil and other fuel industries are the top earners, averaging higher than £75,000 gross annual pay. Their income is 10% higher than their counterparts in chemical manufacturing, the second highest paying sector. They, in turn, are 7% better off than those in the third highest paying sector, finance houses.
