Brice-Baker, which makes giant storage silos, has deployed an AMS++ ERP system from specialist supplier hinrichs+muller to replace in-house developed systems.
The system, which went live in October, is used to consolidate planning and control of commercial processes, from supply chain management to construction site logistics.
"With AMS++ we have replaced a network of our self-developed, stand-alone solutions, which increasingly reached their limit in the face of our commercial growth," said Brice-Baker project manager, Markus Seifert.
"As we couldn't find a suitable ERP system on the British market, we chose AMS++, which was developed specifically for make-to-order manufacturing."
Brice-Baker's production processes are completely outsourced and the system is used to co-ordinate suppliers which deliver production parts directly to the customer at the construction site.
