HP has launched two new HP OpenView-based management products to help customers both comply with government regulations and manage the delivery of IT services using service-oriented architectures (SOAs).
The new HP OpenView Compliance Manager software automates and continuously monitors internal controls and manages business processes, while adhering to compliance regulations, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley, HP said.
The software provides a dashboard view for chief information officers to assess and address areas of emerging IT compliance risk.
In addition, the new HP OpenView SOA Manager software provides controls to allow enterprises to successfully deliver IT as a service using service-oriented architectures.
Through a service oriented architecture HP said users can deliver distributed on-demand applications to their employees using Web interfaces. Companies can also tailor those applications in response to business needs.
HP’s Consulting and Integration services experts will be among the first to use this solution to ensure the successful development, deployment and management of SOAs at customer sites.
