Managed e-mail filtering supplier Checkbridge has teamed up with e-mail immunity company Cloudmark to deliver advanced spam, fraud and phishing filtering via hosted services to internet service providers in Europe.
As part of the alliance, Checkbridge will license Cloudmark Authority software and embed it in its Border Scout managed e-mail filtering service.
The partners claim that the integrated service will result in unparalleled accuracy, a low rate of false positives, and high message throughput. Checkbridge is the first managed service provider to offer Cloudmark Authority in Europe.
Clara.net, the largest ISP in Europe, is the first to offer the service. "The main reason for Clara.net's adoption of Border Scout stems from the rigour behind the technical choices and the extent of the integration possibilities within our business," said Clara.net CTO Neil Levine.
“Filtering provision is critical to the future success of our position in the ISP market,” he added. “Border Scout with the Cloudmark Authority engine has not only allowed us to fulfil this need but also given us a profitable revenue stream.”
Cloudmark Authority gives the ISP and its client centralised control and visibility of e-mail filtering on a global basis, without the hassle of day-to-day administration. Checkbridge and Cloudmark said ISPs should see an immediate improvement in filtering performance and resource utilisation, increasing productivity and lowering operating costs.
Any ISP can use the managed e-mail filtering solution on behalf of its business customers, residential customers and its channel.
