CSC has won a contract worth up to £423m for the operation and maintenance of the US Navy’s Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Centre (Autec).

The contract has a three-year base period and four three-year options, which would take the value to £423m if they were exercised.

CSC’s services will include the scheduling and conduct of test programmes, the operation of range instrumentation and test support systems, and managing the performance of all base operations functions.

Work will be performed at locations including the Bahamas, West Palm Beach and Cape Canaveral.

Autec is a major range and test facility with both deep and shallow water test and training environments for the US Navy.

CSC will subcontract portions of the contract to KIRA for operations support at the Bahamas base, and Gulfstream International Airlines for an airline service.
