Qwest Communications and Loudcloud have announced a partnership to market each other's services to corporate customers.

According to a statement issued by the companies, the five-year deal will give customers broadband access and hosted Web applications through one point of contact. The agreement is expected to generate $260m (£179m) during the next five years.

Qwest, a broadband provider, and Loudcloud, a managed service provider, will deliver end-to-end managed application hosting services using Qwest's North American and European Cybercentres and Loudcloud's managed services.

Sprint and Dell have announced a similar deal, offering expanded Web-hosting and e-commerce services to small and medium-sized businesses.
