The majority of IT managers think that no political party has policies that will best benefit e-business in the UK, following the recent party political conferences.
Of respondents in this week's Computer Weekly/Harvey Nash Big Question poll, 39% said that none of the parties had good e-business policies, or that they were unable to distinguish between the parties on the issue.
Labour fared the best - 32% of respondents said the Government's policies would best benefit e-business. The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats trailed behind on 19% and 10%.
However, despite disparate political views, the general mood was summed up by one IT manager, who said, "I think all the current policies from all of the parties stand a chance of leaving the UK well behind in the e-business market."
