Splysh.com, the on-line recruitment site that categorises itself as a "B2B exchange" rather than an agency, has slowed its advertising to contractors while it "gets more companies on board".
The site, which connects contractors and companies anonymously, and then allows businesses to bid for contractors' services, was launched almost two months ago. Its "novel" approach has attracted so much attention, says CTO Jason Gallagher, that the Splysh website is currently registering around 100 contractors a week. For this reason, the company has decided to focus its immediate attention on attracting more businesses to its service.
"Whilst the uptake has been excellent we do need more companies registered or some contractors may not be able to benefit," explains Gallagher. Almost 40 companies are currently registered with Splysh.
