SAP has transferred about 90 European customers to Deutsche Telekom's corporate services arm, T-Systems.
T-Systems will host and support their SAP software, taking over from SAP's managed services business in Europe.
T-Systems, an SAP service provider, will take over following completion of the deal, expected next month. The deal will not involve the transfer of any resources.
T-Systems said the acquisition of the SAP customers is part of its global SAP expansion strategy.
Wolfgang Krips, senior vice-president, SAP Managed Services, said customers' services will not be interrupted. "Even though there will be a transition to a new provider, I am confident that customers will find the gradual transition to T-Systems to be smooth and very manageable so they may continue to execute their IT agendas."
