Tech Data continues to expand the vendors and services it can support through its trusted advisor knowledge hub and revealed plans to make further additions over the next few months.
Vendor portals for IBM and Microsoft and a data centre solutions area have been added to the knowledge hub and the distributor is going to add Cisco and HPE shortly.
Vendors already supported on the hub include Oracle, Citrix, VMware and Blackberry and there is help for resellers looking for more information on enterprise mobility management (EMM).
The distributor started the hub programe last December with EMM and has been rolling out additional areas of support ever since.
“Through the Trusted Advisor programme, we are aiming to provide resellers with the insights and understanding they need to drive growth in emerging areas of technology”, said Helen Parsons, marketing projects and programmes manager for Azlan + Technology Solutions UK.
“Each hub contains a wealth of informative and inspiring content that will enable resellers to build and develop the knowledge and capabilities of their sales and technical teams," she added “In doing so, we help our customers to construct authentic, credible and differentiated value propositions and accelerate their capabilities in key areas of the market where there is significant growth and added value potential.”
At the same time Tech Data has taken steps to expand its cloud offering across the EMEA region by providing Amazon Web Services to resellers in Turkey.
David Newbould, director, cloud, EMEA at Tech Data said: “We are excited to roll out AWS to an increasing number of countries. As we continue to integrate our Tech Data and Technology Solutions businesses, we are collaborating and sharing invaluable knowledge and experience to further enhance the offerings from our combined portfolio.”
