Attacking Angry Droids : Mobile Malware

As part of this talk, Aditya Gupta and Subho Halder showed how the Android smartphone OS is being exploited now, and what can be expected in the future. The duo discussed various application level vulnerabilities in Android, as well as vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, phishing, clickjacking, tapjacking and more. They concluded the session by demonstrating and releasing the Android Framework for Exploitation (AFE), a framework created for Android Exploitation. Gupta and Halder also showed how it’s possible to extend the framework by writing your own plugins for AFE which can be shared with the open source community
