Industrial gases and engineering company, The Linde Group, has signed a four-year deal with Vodafone Global Enterprise to provide a range of mobile services.

As part of the deal, Vodafone will provide mobile voice and data services in 27 countries across Europe, Asia Pacific and the US. Linde Group said the agreement will help simplify the management of the company's international mobile communications as well as standardising its mobile costs.

Christoph Clausen, chief procurement officer at The Linde Group, said: "As we follow our strategy to be a high performance organisation, mobility services are key to delivering sustainable process optimisation and efficiency gains."

The Linde Group will be using Vodafone Global Enterprise's Spend Manager service, which provides information about mobile costs across countries and providers.

Nick Jeffery, Vodafone Global enterprise CEO, said: "Like other multinational companies, Linde wants to manage its global mobility needs as simply and effectively as possible while reducing costs."
