Sabre provides travel and transportation information to more than 50,000 travel agencies, major travel suppliers, large companies and travel websites worldwide.
Sabre deployed BEA AquaLogic Enterprise Repository as its central repository for managing, governing and distributing Sabre Web Services to this network of customers.
In addition, BEA AquaLogic Enterprise Repository is helping Sabre manage its entire inventory of internal services, components, frameworks and other software assets.
"BEA AquaLogic Enterprise Repository has helped us promote and govern our service orientated architecture assets and understand where and what services are being used," said Bob Prevenslik, director of web services at Sabre Holdings.
"This enables us to analyse market trends to optimise product delivery and continue meeting our customers' needs," he said.
