Asigra has joined the NetApp Partner Programme, which will see Asigra’s Televaulting distributed back-up product being tested and validated with NetApp’s unified storage systems.
The pair said the move would deliver customers improved centralised backup administration of company’s different data systems and sites.
This will help ensure that customers' network infrastructures will properly function with simplified management to manage staffing requirements and lower costs, the companies said.
"This partnership will reassure our customers that we are dedicated to providing total storage solutions that eliminate data protection, performance, and scalability limitations while dramatically reducing the cost and management of backup across the Wan," said Eran Farajun, Asigra executive vice-president.
