The European Commission is signing a four-year IT services
supply contract with Fujitsu Services.
The contract is with the Directorate General for External
Relations (DG Relex) of the European Commission.
The deal covers the supply of IT services, including the
management of the helpdesk, infrastructure management, user
support, and management of the projects of the delegations of the
European Commission (5,000 users and 134 delegations
worldwide).
A series of additional services, such as architecture
consulting, the management and design of the ICT infrastructure,
and security audits are also included.
In total, around 20 Fujitsu specialists will provide the
services on the site of the Directorate General for External
Relations of the European Commission in Brussels.
