LogicaCMG and Oracle address on-demand HR market

LogicaCMG and Oracle have joined forces to address the on-demand human resources market.

LogicaCMG will now offer Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) as part of its own outsourced HR and payroll service.

Organisations that select LogicaCMG as their HR and payroll service provider will see Oracle solutions being deployed on a "pay-as-you-go" basis - removing the need to pay the traditional, upfront software licence fee and any ongoing maintenance charges.

The pair said the service will give many private and public sector organisations the opportunity to change the way they deliver HR and payroll services to their employees and save cash.

The agreement allows organisations to take advantage of HR and payroll services that run on Oracle applications, and benefit from ongoing savings achieved through a volume-based service model.
