Dell EMC reveals further details on its new partner programme

Dell EMC begins fleshing out some of the details on its new partner programme, due to go live in February 2017

Dell EMC today added some meat to the bones about its highly anticipated partner programme.

Set to launch in February 2017, the programme will be made up of three standard tiers - Gold, Platinum and Titanium. On top of this, there will be a ‘Titanium Black’ partner tier, reserved for the highest performing partners. The tech megatron said that it will announce tier thresholds in December, giving partners plenty of time to ‘ramp up’ to the new criteria.

The details were revealed at Dell EMC World in Austin, Texas. The company said that the programme was built on three core tenets — to be: ‘Simple, Predictable and Profitable’. There will be just one partner portal with single sign-on, and partners will apparently receive the same training as direct sales teams. There will also be a Line of Business Incumbency Programme for storage, which will enable channel partners to maintain their relationships with their installed base through standard deal registration, as well as serve new customers interested in the Dell EMC portfolio.

In what is likely to be the largest partner operation since the dawn of the channel, the programme will encompass the entire Dell EMC partner ecosystem, inclusive of Solution Providers, Cloud Service Providers, Global Alliances, OEM Solutions partners and distribution.
