Managed services provider Logicalis has announced the appointment of Bob Swallow as managing director of its UK business.
Swallow, who was previously sales director, will lead the UK senior management team after a period of restructuring and transformation within the business.
Prior to joining Logicalis, he held senior sales positions at Dimension Data and Recite, as well as management roles at Datapoint and Chess Telecom.
“Bob brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent the past three decades leading IT businesses in key sales and executive management roles,” said Mark Rogers, CEO for Logicalis Group. “This is a fantastic time to be leading the UK business having restructured ourselves to meet the burgeoning needs of businesses looking to gain competitive advantage through digital transformation. I’m confident that Bob is the right man to lead the UK team as we move into this new phase of growth.”

NuData Security announced the appointment of Robert Capps as vice president of business development.
Capps is a well-regarded security and cybercrime technologist, thought leader and advisor in the sector.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s growing channel programme and the development of strategic alliances and partnerships.
Prior to the appointment, Capps served as senior director at RedSeal, where he was responsible for technical, security and customer operations.

Entatech has announced the return of Ellie Farley to its team as Microsoft product manager.
The distributor said that the return of Farley is expected to augment Entatech’s ambitions, as they invest further in promoting the Microsoft stack through marketing campaigns and reseller incentives.
Dave Stevinson, Entatech managing sirector, said: “Ellie is no stranger to Entatech’s reseller partners and was one of the reasons why our Microsoft business grew so much. Ellie’s return will cement the existing foundations and provide a fantastic platform for our ambitious growth plans.”

The news of Ellie’s return follows the recent launch of Entatech’s PC Retour brand, its range of fully refurbished PC hardware and devices, authorised by Microsoft.
