Daisy Group has not allowed its recent privatisation to get in the way of its aggressive expansion strategy, today announcing the acquisition of unified comms provider Damovo UK.
The purchase of Damovo, which delivers UC solutions to more than 250 organisations, will give Daisy another foothold in the enterprise market - a key area of focus for the management team.
The announcement marks the first acquisition made by Daisy since the £494m management buyout last year. Daisy completed some 24 acquisitions between listing on the AIM in 2009 and its return to private ownership in 2014.
“This is the first acquisition we have undertaken since Daisy’s privatisation and enhances our capability in the enterprise space,” said Daisy Group founder and executive chairman Matthew Riley. “With strong vendor relationships and an expert team in place, the business is well positioned for growth under our ownership.”
“The converging world of traditional telecoms and IT continues to present exciting opportunities and with a rapidly expanding cloud and managed services division the acquisition of this highly scalable UK business is a clear strategic fit for the Group.”
