Computacenter has maintained its outlook for the year after revealing a Q3 revenue was flat in constant currency and had declined by 3% on an as reported basis.
The board said that trading had remained roughly in keeping with its expectations, with strong performance in the UK but less than impressive figures coming out of France and Germany. Revenue from UK markets grew by 5% to £314m. The UK figures were bolstered by a significant deal that was penned early in the quarter and a strong sales pipeline looks to propel the regions figures well into 2015.
However, in Germany revenue fell by 12% to £281m, thanks in part to the loss of a major contract; and in France, revenue was flat at £99m. Overall, revenue fell to £707m from £729m a year before. Computacenter said that it expected to see revenue growth once again in 2015.
The rather uninspiring results were followed by equally tame performance on the stock market with shares trading flat at 603.50p.
