WAN optimisation specilaist Ipanema Technologies is adding a value-added distributor track to its recently-launched Advantage Partner Programme in the UK.
The firm said the launch would enable its distie partners, which include Computerlinks, Infosight Solutions and Nubeon, to target growing demand for business app performance management services in the enterprise sector.
The scheme has been designed to allow disties to - either through their reseller partners or directly - support customers through a managed network services wraparound.
It will include elements such as discounting and sales-based rebates, training, marketing collareral and technical support, said Ipanema.
UK general manager and vice president, Nigel Pink, said that Ipanema's services business had traditionally been based around large-scale app-aware managed services deployments in the telco space.
However, the VAD programme would: "Offer distributors the opportunity to make product sales, deliver traditional support services and, importantly, the capability to manage their enterprise customers' application traffic."
