ACS inks Vodafone deal to get closer to medical contracts

Advanced Computer Software Group (ACS) has signed a partnership agreement with Vodafone to target a wider range of healthcare sector contracts.
The deal, the value of which was not disclosed, will see ACS' iNurse smartphone-based patient management software app sold as part of Vodafone's mHealth Professional mobile solution package.
According to ACS, its software can offer significant productivity and efficiency benefits for doctors and nurses. Chief executive Vin Murria said this would "ultimately allow more patients to receive better care".
In its most recent set of results for the financial year ended 28 February, ACS sales jumped well over 100 per cent to £216m, reflecting the impact of a series of acquisitions. EBITDA was £24m, up from £7.2m in its fiscal 2010.
