Netgear is on the hunt for a new UK SMB and midmarket country manager to replace Mark Power, who left the firm earlier in August.
Power's replacement will report to European VP Jean-Michel Bielli, and will be tasked with the significant restructuring task of reducing the vendor's ISR VAR numbers to below 100, according to a job description circulated among rivals.
"The growth of the SMB-midmarket sector is the key to taking Netgear to the next level and therefore [we] are looking for a candidate who is experienced and can execute in this area of the business," the firm said.
The small-business and consumer-centric wireless networking and storage specialist does approximately £51.5m worth of business in the UK across three divisions; consumer, ISP (OEM) and SMB and midmarket.
Netgear declined to discuss Powers' departure with MicroScope, citing an ongoing restructuring process.
