How high performance computing could make Marussia F1 champion
CSC provides and maintain the technology to run the supercomputer, along with a number of technology services for Marussia F1.
The 6,500 core supercomputer has an internal infiniband network and 130TB of usable high performance storage.
CSC also provides trackside IT. Without this the car cannot start and the telemetry generated from the 200+ sensors cannot be fed back to the local race team and engineers working in the Marussia F1 Technical Centre.
