Azlan has upgraded its Business Solutions Centre to give resellers a greater level of support and add some more depth to its relationship with HPE.
The centre gives resellers the chance to get hands on with technology from the likes of HPE, VMware and Veeam. The latest additions to the BSC are mainly around extending the HPE coverage to include the Synergy, SimpliVity and Nimble composable, hyper-converged and flash storage offerings.
The BSC will create solutions where the technology will be used with other vendor offerings, like VMware, Veeam and 3PAR arrays to give partners a preview of what is possible.
The distributor provides the BSC as a free of charge tool that resellers can use to get customers in to see the technology as well as getting their own staff to run proof of concept testing and training.
"We can bring HPE’s very latest solutions together with leading products from other vendors, so resellers can give customers a complete picture and make a really strong impression," said John Hutchinson, HPE datacenter solutions and technology consultant for Azlan UK.
"It’s a powerful and invaluable resource and by bringing end-users into the BSC, partners can give their customers the confidence to invest. It also gives them the chance to explore the customer’s business needs afresh and often uncover opportunities that are greater than they initially thought," he added.
The move bu the distributor was welcomed by HPE because it increased the opportunity for the channel and customers to have a look at its extended portfolio.
“The upgrade of the BSC to include the emerging products from HPE is core to our strategy of bringing these new technologies to market. It will provide the education and confidence that our partners need when promoting Hybrid IT solutions to their client base," said Andrew Stuart, HPE business unit director UK.
Azlan has already started to book up demos and training events to get HPE partners in for a closer look at the technology from SimpliVity, Synergy and Nimble.
