The Nuvias Group continues to strengthen its portfolio, making the third vendor signing since the summer, with the security side of the business adding to its roster.
Last month the distribution group, which includes Wick Hill, Zycko and Siphon Networks, was signed up by Nokia and July saw WatchGuard expand its relationship with the operation.
The latest name to add to the vendor roster is HID Global, which is using the channel player to handle its identity and access management security products across the EMEA region.
The products include both physical identity and access management solutions as well as the digital with the chance for customers to join them up.
Ian Kilpatrick, executive vice president of cyber security at Nuvias, said that there was a significant opportunity for the channel around identity and access management, both selling the products and additional services.
"We were looking for how we could increase our footprint in identity and access management and HID was looking to further increase its presence in the areas we work in across EMEA," he said.
"Every day we are reading about people who fail to secure their identity," he added "Customers are now understanding that the reputational damage is higher than the cost of getting it right."
Kilpatrick added that for the channel there was plenty of opportunity to add additional services to the HID sale and it would be helping by hand holding people through the first deployment.
In response, Miguel Braojos, vice president global sales, IAM Solutions with HID Global, said that it had signed up Nuvias to its Advantage Partner programme and it would provide support to partners across EMEA.
“The company’s strong team of security experts has extensive experience working with multi-national and financial institutions, further extending our commitment to quality and driving end-user value," he said.
