Comms-care bags another Microsoft Gold competency

Outsourced IT services provider Comms-care adds Gold Midmarket Solution Provider competency to its collection of accolades

Outsourced IT services provider Comms-care has become one of an elite group of Microsoft partners to achieve the Gold Midmarket Solution Provider competency.

The rare accolade demonstrates ‘best-in-class’ expertise in current infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft desktop, business-management and server technologies. Comms-care will add the award to its trophy room, which already houses Gold Datacenter, Gold Devices and Deployments, Silver Cloud Platform, Silver Communications, Silver Messaging and Silver Identity and Access.

To earn the Microsoft Gold competency, partners must jump through a series of hoops including MCP exams, ensuring certain levels of staffing capacity are met and demonstrating successfully completed projects. They must also meet revenue targets and pass ongoing technology assessments.

“Achieving the Microsoft Gold Midmarket Solution Provider Competency showcases our expertise in and commitment to today’s technology market and demonstrates our depth of knowledge when it comes to Microsoft and its products,” said Simon Day, professional services director at Comms-care. “Comms-care works hard to stay ahead of technology and remain aligned with the needs of our channel partners and their end-user base.”

Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft, added: “These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top 1% of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions on the latest Microsoft technology.”
