Centrix Software is aiming to leverage the opportunities arising from an increasing move to the cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 by offering analytics software designed to make the transition quicker and cost-effective.
It has launched a product called WorkSpace 365iQ, which is an addition to its existing WorkSpace iQ suite.
WorkSpace 365 iQ can identifying the users within an organisation who can move with the least effort, enabling organisations to better manage their software environment by identifying where applications could be replaced with the standard Office 365 suite.
It claims that WorkSpace 365 iQ can save customers thousands of pounds with features such as the profiling of users’ SKU requirements and identifying which applications could be replaced with the standard Office 365 suite.
Centrix further claims that one of its customers made an estimated saving of £366,000 a year following a monthly cost reduction from £127,000 to £96,500.
WorkSpace 365 iQ analyses application usage data against requirements for Office 365, across an IT estate, by matching office applications to the right users, based on their existing usage of tools, determining license costs, identifying users ready to migrate and accelerating overall migration time.
365 iQ is available as a hosted Software-as-a-Service offering.
